Run free in these highly flexible shoes. Features an adaptive upper for the perfect fit.

Colour: Pink Pow / Vivid Pink / White / Black

The Nike Free 5.0 Kids' Running Shoe features a super-flexible outsole and a lightweight, adaptive upper for comfort and natural range of motion when you're running and jumping.

Natural Movement

Hexagonal flex grooves in the outsole create six different flex points that allow your foot to move more naturally in every direction. The rounded heel rolls with the ground, encouraging a natural stride.

Flywire in the upper integrates with the laces for a supportive, glove-like fit that helps keep your foot stable when you're playing and running.

Lightweight Cushioning

A lighweight, durable Phylite midsole helps to cushion your foot during impacts.

More Benefits

  • Woven mesh upper provides lightweight ventilation to help your feet stay cool
  • Molded sockliner mimics your foot's shape for added support
  • Waffle outsole pistons absorb impact and add responsiveness
  • Extra rubber on the heel and at the toe adds traction and durability

Nike Free Origins

After learning that Stanford athletes had been training barefoot on the university's golf course, three of Nike's most innovative and creative employees set out to develop a shoe that felt natural and weightless, similar to bare feet. In 2002, they examined a group of men and women with pressure measuring insoles taped to their feet, using high-speed cameras to capture images of each foot in motion. The team spent eight years studying the biomechanics of shoeless running. The results yielded a profound understanding of the foot's natural landing angle, pressure and toe position, allowing Nike designers to build an unconventional and flexible running shoe from the inside out. Since Nike Free's introduction, millions of runners have trained in the shoe, including some of Kenya's world-class runners.
